Modern Law Conveyancing Awards, 10 years on…

Health & wellbeing matter in the workplace

The Groundsure team is incredibly hard working and passionate about what they do. 

So being recognised as Search Provider of the Year celebrates the positive impact our employees have on the business, and the difference our market-leading products make to our customers. 

The welfare of our staff and the local communities around us has always been a priority at Groundsure. Since achieving B-Crop certification in September 2023, we have introduced  new policies and taken meaningful steps to ensure all our employees have all the tools and support they need to prioritise their wellbeing.  

Supporting good causes

At Groundsure, we’re very proactive when it comes to supporting local and national charities that are close to our hearts. We provide support in a number of ways: from our time, effort and money, that span good causes such as volunteer days, fundraising activities, the sponsorship of employees who are doing an amazing act for charity, to matching the funding raised for good causes, and our monthly HOT Mapping sessions. Plus ticket sales from our annual Thames Cruise support Prostate Cancer UK and Breast Cancer UK charities. The effort and support is company-wide, everyone is happy to do their bit. 

The awards ceremony

Malcolm Smith, CEO at Groundsure attended the very first Modern Law Conveyancing Awards ceremony ten years ago. He says:“Ten years ago, the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards were a welcome new fixture in the calendar. Today they’re a night the whole sector looks forward to. Over that decade I’ve watched the event grow in scale, ambition and reach. The shortlists have become more competitive, the entries more innovative, and the categories now reflect how much conveyancing has changed, from technology and client experience to the people driving it forward. What hasn’t changed is its spirit. It’s a genuine celebration of the firms and individuals who keep the property market moving, often under huge pressure and with too little recognition.”
