In the 10 years that I’ve been working at Groundsure, I’ve inherently felt a great sense of community and that I’m valued here. It’s actually something that I felt from my very first day!
I’ve found that there’s a supportive culture that runs through every team at Groundsure – fostering a willingness to help each other, whenever it’s needed. There’s a genuine culture of collaboration that runs across all teams. I’ve consistently found that colleagues – both within my team and across the business, are eager to share their knowledge and are open to answering any questions (big or small).
I’ve progressed my career within Groundsure over the years. I started as a Customer Service Associate, before moving over to the GIS department (Geographic Information System) as a GIS Technician – developing my skills and progressing upwards through the team.
We’re given the freedom to develop professionally and discover the roles that we want to work in – within our teams and at Groundsure as a whole. Within the business, there are many opportunities to get involved with other teams and initiatives – from charity and volunteering, to staff wellbeing. For me, this highlights that the importance of looking after people is at the core of who we are.
Additionally, Groundsure offers the flexibility that provides a good balance for a busy family life, and the benefit of having a dog friendly office means Floyd can join me on my work day!
