Groundsure Team Rolls Up Sleeves to Volunteer at Raystede

On Tuesday 10th June, some of the Groundsure team swapped their desks for paintbrushes and headed out to the Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare for a rewarding charity day.

It was a brilliant opportunity to give back and support an organisation that’s making a real difference to the lives of animals.

Kitted out in some rather striking white suits, the team got stuck into painting rabbit hutches. The original goal was to complete three but, true to form, the team exceeded all expectations and managed to finish six. It was an incredible effort and a testament to the team’s enthusiasm and commitment.

Our day was filled with laughter, teamwork and a few accidental paint splashes. Most importantly, it was a chance to contribute to the amazing work happening at Raystede. A big thank you goes to the Raystede team for making us feel so welcome and for the incredible care they provide every day.

Raystede rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes a wide variety of animals and also offers long-term sanctuary for those who need it. Based in East Sussex, the centre supports around 400 animals at any one time across its 43-acre site. From rabbits and cats to goats and exotic birds, the range of animals they care for is truly inspiring.

We were proud to be part of their mission, even just for a day, and we look forward to future opportunities to support their fantastic work.

Through fundraising, volunteering and a genuine commitment to our community, the Groundsure team has supported many vital causes over the years, both locally and nationally. Their efforts reflect a culture where doing good is part of everyday business, not just a once-a-year initiative.
