Groundsure Competition Terms and Conditions June 2024
- Promoter
1.1 The promoter of this competition is Groundsure Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 3421028 and whose registered office is at Nile House, Nile Street, Brighton, England, BN1 1HW (hereinafter referred to as “the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
2.1 This competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdon, aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter or its holding, group or subsidiary companies, their families, agents or otherwise professionally or directly associated with the Promoter.
2.2 Entrants must have a valid LinkedIn and Podbean account. Podbean is linked in clause 3.1.1 below.
2.3 Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified Individuals must enter as natural persons, not through a company or partnership.
2.4 Entry into the competition is free of charge.
3. How to participate
3.1 In order to enter this competition, entrants must:
3.1.1 Follow the GroundTalk: The Groundsure Podcast by creating an account on Podbean, which requires a username, email address, and password; andLike and share the LinkedIn social post related to the competition at https://www.linkedin.com/company/groundsure/mycompany.
3.1.2 Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this competition.
4. Competition period
4.1 This competition will run from 00:00 on the 19th of June 2024 (“Competition Start Date”) to 23:59 on the 30th of June 2024 (“Competition End Date”). Entries received by the Promoter after this time will be void and will not be entered into this competition.
5. Selection of the winner
5.1 The winner will be selected by a random number generator from all valid entries received during the competition period.
5.2 Subject to clauses 8.2 and 8.3, the winner will be publicly announced on the Promoter’s LinkedIn page on the 9th of July 2024 (“Announcement Date”).
6. Prize
6.1 The prize is a £50.00 electronic Amazon voucher.
6.2 Only one winner will be selected.
6.3 The prize is as stated above, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not for resale.
6.4 Prizes are subject to availability; the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
7. Notification of the results and receipt of the prize
7.1 The Promoter will notify the winner by private direct message on LinkedIn on or before the 9th of July 2024. If a selected winner does not respond to the notification within 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have 48 hours to respond to their notification).
7.2 The Amazon voucher will then be delivered electronically to the email address provided by the winner within 14 days from the Announcement Date.
8. Publicity and personal data
8.1 Please note that your personal data will be used to process your entry, to contact you about your entry, and for the purpose outlined in paragraph 8.2 below. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the Promoter’s privacy policy and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
8.2 The full name of the winner will be published at https://www.linkedin.com/company/143627/admin/feed/posts/ permanently on the date of the announcement as per clause 5.2. You are able to withdraw consent for the publication of your personal data as per clause 8.3.
8.3 If you do not want your personal data included in the announcement referred to above, please email marketing@groundsure.com prior to the Competition End Date.
9. General
9.1 It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted by the entrant as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding it.
9.2 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering this competition or as a result of any acceptance of the prize.
9.3 The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any technical, hardware or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant’s ability to participate in this competition.
9.4 While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud the Promoter’s liability for any damages is limited to £100.
9.5 It is the entrant’s responsibility to provide a correct email address for the prize and the Promoter takes no responsibility for the delivery of the prize if the incorrect email address is provided in accordance with clause 7.2
9.6 Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion hold, void, cancel, suspend, vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
9.7 The prize draw will be governed by English law, and all parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
