Charity Football with the Stars raises in excess of £4000
On July 24th, a charity football match was organised in support of the charity Well Child. A team of “willing volunteers” from the property search industry took on a 'Soap Stars XI' at Leicestershire Dynamos. Well Child is a UK charity helping sick children and their families. Well Child's patron is Prince Harry, among celebrity ambassadors are Mark Foster, Duncan Bannatyne and Karren Brady.
The event organised by X-Press Legal Services was supported by GroundSure, represented by Gary Miller. Representing the Soap Stars were characters from Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Emmerdale.
In a very competitive game the visitors managed to clinch a 3-1 win against the 'Soap Stars' at the end of 90 minutes. The game watched by over 400 spectators raised in excess of £4000 for Well Child, and still counting.
